I’m Federico Zimerman — a hospitality operator, business builder, and problem-solver obsessed with meaningful experiences, operational clarity, and long-term health. I was born in Argentina, shaped by travel, and now live in the Catskills with my wife, two dogs, and a cat who thinks he runs the place.

I run Blackbird Hospitality Management, a short-term rental management company that brings real hospitality back to the business. We’re guest-first, owner-transparent, and built on operations that don’t fall apart when things get messy. We manage 75+ properties across multiple states and focus on maximizing revenue while delivering consistently high guest satisfaction.

I also founded Porten Stays, our guest-facing brand that creates warm, memorable stays for travelers who want more than just a place to sleep. And I’m reopening the bar and restaurant at The Book Village Inn in Hobart, NY, turning a local staple into a place for great food, great drinks, and even better stories.

Now, we’re launching STRYieldManagement, a company focused on helping short-term rental operators increase profitability through smart, data-backed revenue management. We take the guesswork out of pricing so you can get more bookings, higher rates, and less stress.
